Message from the Sea

Hello all,

Joe and I are having a great time on our Caribbean Cruise. It was a little rough for me the first 24 hours as I had the "Elsie Syndrome". We left from Fort Lauderdale at 5PM on Sunday and spent 2 whole days on the Sea headed for Saint Maartine in the Netherland, Antilles. We arrived at 7AM on Wednesday morning. I couldn't wait to get off the boat for a while. This is a picture of the island!

Joe had booked us a horse back riding excursion. We road horses along the beach of this beautiful Island. Afterwards, we headed downtown. The island is shared by the Dutch and the French. Tourists, like ourselves are how they make their money, so Joe and I weren't to impressed. Many hagglers! We bought a T-shirt and headed back to the boat.

Thursday morning, we arrived in Saint Thomas, in the Virgin island of the USA! We did a lot of shopping downtown. A much better experience. I purchased a 3 CT Diamond Tennis bracelet for very little money. Can't wait to show it off.
Friday morning, we are back at sea and heading for Princess Cay Island in the Bahama's. We will arribve Saturday morning. We have been well entertained on the ship as ther are many activities to participate in. I hope that we can all take a crusie together one day! It has been great. See you later! Love Sybil and Joe
